So it looks like you want to submit a writing prompt.
Great! I would love that! As a budding writer, I want to get as much practice as possible writing as much as I can. If you are interested in giving me a writing prompt, that would make me more than happy.
So, how do you do it?
Just contact me via email (mingobird1@gmail.com) saying what you would like the writing prompt to be. I look at it often, so it's an almost guaranteed chance I'll see it. After I do see it, I will most certainly get back to you as confirmation. Just please keep in mind a few rules.
The subject of the email should have "Writing Prompt" somewhere in it. This will just make it a lot easier for me to find in case it does get lost.
No super weird stuff. I'm alright with pretty much anything, but if it crosses a certain line, I'm not doing it. I'm talking about anything super sexual or gorey.
Also, if I don't see it after around a week or so for some reason, don't feel afraid to send it again. I won't be annoyed, I'll be extremely happy to be noticed.
I may misinterpret the prompt, or change it up a little to make it easier to write. It is likely that if I do one of these things I will let you know in the email when I get back to you.
If you do not give me any kind of name or alias to go by in the email, I'll just say it's from "anonymous." Don't worry, I will not use the name you gave me in the email if you don't want me to. If you do want to be credited, give me some kind of name in the email so I can credit you.
A few examples of writing prompts I have used:
"A council of dragon-slaying knights, but one of them can talk to dragons and understands them."
"a mayfly-type character who is assigned to live one day in the life of a specific person (who will die the next day)"
"A generic, optimistic hero comes to an immortal sage for advice, but instead has to listen to him/her ranting about literally everything for few hours"
Recap: Email me at mingobird1@gmail.com your writing prompt with a name/alias somewhere inside, and "Writing Prompt" somewhere in the subject.
If you have a prompt in mind, definitely don't be afraid to share it with me. That's all, and thank you!
