The twigfish stores its nutrients inside of the glowing, gel-filled sacs attached to its long, twig-like body. These glowing nutrient gel sacs taste very good, like a savory version of pomegranate seeds, or at least that's what Joey said before he succumbed to convulsions and died due to the powerful neurotoxin also inside of the sacs. Sorry Joey. The way the twigfish eats is still to this day a mystery.
